With the art project picidae two artist has broke through the so called «Great Firewall of China». The Internet Censorship in China is used by the government to withhold information from the world wide web. The project involves a technical solution to undergo the text censorship by using images of websites instead of text. The user enters the website he wants to look at on one of the picidae web servers like: http://pici.picidae.net/ and is able to look at the website without withheld information.
